Welcome to the Computational Multiomics Group
Mission statement
Dominik Kopczynski’s research group at the University of Vienna develops algorithms and data science methods for omics research. The group focuses on multiomics, bioinformatics, and the development of innovative data formats, databases, and software solutions for interpreting complex biological datasets. By integrating computational modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis with analytical chemistry, the group aims to improve the interpretation of molecular data.
A central objective of the research is to enable reproducible, scalable, and data-driven analysis workflows that support modern analytical chemistry-driven research. The group collaborates across disciplines to translate complex omics data into meaningful knowledge, contributing to a deeper understanding of the chemical nature of biological samples.
